I will send a list of Spelling words home each Monday. We will have a Practice test on Wednesday and the Final tests, for a grade, on Friday.
Each spelling test will include regular words and challenge words. Until Christmas, challenge words spelled correctly will be worth 1 extra point each. If they are spelled incorrectly, no points will be given. After Christmas the challenge words will count equally with the other Spelling words. A Spelling word is spelled correctly if it is spelled and written correctly. For example: cat; cAt is incorrect because of the improper use of the capital A; bat: dat is incorrect because of the backward letter.
